Privacy

The promise

• Private by default. Everything you share is yours. Nothing is shared, shown, or surfaced unless you choose it.
• No training on your data. Your content is never used to train AI models — ours or anyone’s — unless you opt in to the de-identified improvement program below.
• Restricted access. We don’t read your sessions. Access is least-privilege and logged; we protect your content through these controls and our no-training commitment, not end-to-end encryption (the AI needs to process your words to work). So we say “we don’t,” never “we can’t.”
• Solo is solo. In solo mode everything stays with you; it reaches a partner only when you confirm it.
• You stay in control. View, correct, delete, or export your data; leave anytime.
• No voice recordings. Voice is transcribed in real time and the audio is discarded — only the text transcript is kept.

Private, shared & internal

• Private (solo) — the default for everything in solo mode; visible only to you.
• Shared (couple) — only content you explicitly promote from private.
• Internal — AI context, memory, style profile, and transcripts that run the service; never shown raw to a partner or synced externally.

Two narrow, deliberate exceptions to “internal stays internal”: after a session we email you a recap summary (to your own address), and you may opt in to the improvement program below.

Who we work with

We share data only with the providers needed to run TwoLife: hosting and database (Supabase, Vercel), AI and voice (Anthropic, Deepgram, ElevenLabs, LiveKit), and email (Resend, used to send your recap summaries). We don’t sell your data and we don’t show ads. An optional one-way sync to your own Notion workspace is not active today.

Improving TwoLife (opt-in)

You can opt in to let us use de-identified transcripts (names and obvious identifiers removed; no audio exists) to evaluate and improve the coach. This is off by default, per-account, and revocable anytime — turning it off stops future use. We never use it to train third-party foundation models on identifiable content.

Your rights

You can access, correct, delete, or export your data, and withdraw consent, anytime. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws like GDPR or CCPA.
